Job Title: SME - Financial and IT Modeling & Analytics

Location(s): Washington, DC (Remote)

Skills: Mortgage Cashflow Models, complex models, and analytical tools

Job Description:
Provide expert guidance on complex models and analytical tools, partnering with leadership to drive business and model transformation and innovation.
• Synthesize and articulate different business usages and their requirements for shared economic and mortgage cashflow models.
• Assess model effectiveness and fit for use across multiple business usages, ensure that models are appropriately tested and monitored, provide insights on the model drivers and limitations.
• Coordinate and partner with cross-functional teams through the model management life cycles, ensuring alignment of model changes / adjustments with usage goals and objectives.
• Stay abreast of regulatory requirements as well as internal standards and procedures, ensuring compliance with the enterprise standards and escalate non-compliance.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, offering insights and recommendations for prioritizations balancing accuracy, speed, cost and governance.
• Support leadership to drive consensus and prioritize requirements, vetting, testing, and adjustments across user groups, resolve or escalate findings from reviewers.

7) Strong issue resolution and risk management skills
8) Experience with project management methodologies

Education/Work Experience:
1) Bachelor degree in Business or related field desired.
2) Professional certifications as may be appropriate to the designate.
