Details Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) setting within a hospital environment Day shift schedule 13-week assignment length Defined workweek runs Sunday 12:01am through Saturday 11:59pm Requirements Active NH or compact RN license required Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (ACLS not required for Pre-Admission Testing or Operating Room) CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) training preferred or obtained prior to completion of orientation 3 years' critical care experience preferred Graduate of an approved Nursing program preferred Basic Dysrhythmia certification preferred or obtained prior to completion of orientation NIHSS certification preferred or obtained prior to completion of orientation Ability to safely administer procedural sedation and pass annual sedation examination Experience assisting with insertion of Flow wire, Opsens, and IVUS preferred Must demonstrate knowledge of contraindications and reversal for IV adenosine infusion Additional Information Render professional nursing care within the assigned unit in support of medical care as directed by medical staff Complete comprehensive clinical documentation and care plans for all assigned patients in a timely manner Communicate patient information for continuity and safe care through hand-offs, walking rounds, and provider interaction Complete hourly rounding in collaboration with Licensed Nursing Assistants (LNAs) Collaborate with nurses across departments and units to resolve conflicts and address patient care needs Participate in quality improvement planning and DNV survey readiness Work within a Just Culture environment to promote error reporting and safe practices Practice reflects knowledge of current standards including ANA and NH Nurse Practice Act American Traveler Job ID P-748871.
