Compensation$45-55+ Per Hour

Position Responsibilities

• Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and functional assessments

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans

• Provide direct and consultative OT services to students

• Address fine motor skills, sensory processing, visual-motor integration, self-care, and classroom participation

• Collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams

• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student goals

• Recommend adaptive equipment and classroom accommodations

• Track student progress and maintain accurate documentation

California Occupational Therapist Requirements

Qualified candidates must possess:

• Master's Degree or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program

• Active California Occupational Therapist License

• Current NBCOT certification

• Ability to meet district and state background clearance requirements

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Pediatric or school-based OT experience

• Experience supporting students with special education needs

• Familiarity with IEP processes and school-based therapy

• Knowledge of sensory integration, assistive technology, and adaptive equipment

• Strong organization and documentation skills
