Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for students with a variety of special needs, accurately diagnosing conditions and formulating individualized treatment plans to support their emotional well-being.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to students diagnosed with ASD, learning disabilities, emotional and behavioral disorders, and ADHD.
\n
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions to bolster personal growth, emotional regulation, and effective coping strategies among students.
\n
• Collaborate with educators, speech therapists, occupational therapists, and other specialists to ensure a holistic approach to each student’s care.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention services during mental health emergencies, demonstrating poise and expertise in high-pressure situations.
\n
• Offer psychoeducation resources and support to students and their families, enhancing their understanding of mental health conditions and available resources.

• Maintain precise documentation in compliance with legal and regulatory standards to ensure transparency and accountability.
\n
• Actively participate in team meetings, case conferences, and collaborative staff development activities to continuously improve care strategies and methodologies.

• Stay informed on the latest research, legal changes, and ethical guidelines relevant to social work practice in educational settings.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As part of our Special Education Program, you will work primarily with children and adolescents facing various learning and behavioral challenges. Your role encompasses not only addressing the immediate mental health needs of these students but also promoting long-term strategies for emotional resilience and educational success.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
\n
• Current and valid LCSW licensure in the state of Kansas.
\n
• Solid understanding of mental health disorders and proficiency in evidence-based treatment modalities, including trauma-informed care.

• Proven ability to conduct mental health assessments and develop effective treatment plans.
\n
• Experience in delivering both individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing a variety of therapeutic approaches.

• Strong crisis intervention skills, coupled with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
\n
• Computer proficiency, including experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
\n
• Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, candidates with diverse backgrounds and training in mental health, education, or related fields will be considered. Experience working in school settings or with children who have special needs can be beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this role ranges from USD 80,000 to 104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to competitive pay, we offer:
