Respiratory Therapist - Casual

Role Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT) provides therapeutic procedures and diagnostic testing to acutely and chronically ill patients, supporting neonatal and adult respiratory care. Responsibilities Administer respiratory therapies, initiate procedures, and perform diagnostic tests in line with departmental policies. Ensure patient safety, promote evidence-based practices, and maintain professionalism. Document patient assessments and maintain departmental records. Collaborate with healthcare teams and communicate clinical information effectively. Precept new employees and participate in student clinical rotations. Maintain respiratory therapy equipment and respond to emergency situations as needed. Qualifications & Skills Successful completion of a 2 or 4-year Respiratory Care Program or equivalent education. Ohio Respiratory Care Professional License and NBRC credential (RRT or CRT). Clinical experience with aerosolized medication delivery, mechanical ventilation, intubations, pulmonary function tests, and arterial blood gases. Current BLS certification. #J-18808-Ljbffr
