Senior Cyber Security Analyst

Senior Cyber Security AnalystData Intelligence is seeking a highly experienced Senior Cyber Security Analyst to support mission-critical operations at NCIS Headquarters in Quantico, VA. This role focuses on Certification & Accreditation (C&A) and Information Assurance (IA) activities, ensuring Navy IT systems meet stringent security requirements. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Navy cybersecurity frameworks and experience serving as a Validator within C&A processes.Key ResponsibilitiesLead Certification & Accreditation (C&A) and Information Assurance (IA) efforts for Navy IT systemsApply Navy C&A guidance to ensure compliance across systems, sites, and infrastructureServe as a Navy Validator supporting system authorization processesDevelop, review, and maintain cybersecurity documentation, including: System Security Plans (SSP)Contingency PlansPrivacy Impact Assessments (PIA)Certification & Accreditation ReportsPlan of Action & Milestones (POA&M)Conduct security assessments and support risk management activitiesCollaborate with technical teams, system owners, and leadership to ensure security complianceProvide guidance on cybersecurity best practices across IT operations and systemsCommunicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels on security posture and requirementsRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fieldMinimum 10 years of professional experience in cybersecurity, Information Assurance, or C&A-related fieldsDemonstrated in-depth knowledge of all C&A subject areasStrong familiarity with Navy IT systems, environments, and infrastructureExperience applying Navy C&A guidance to real-world systemsExperience serving as a Navy ValidatorStrong technical writing skills with experience developing and maintaining C&A documentationExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work across technical and non-technical teamsActive Top Secret / SCI clearanceCertifications (Required) Must meet DoD 8570/8140 IAM Level II requirements with one of the following:CGRC (CAP)CASP+ CE (SecurityX)CISMCISSP (or Associate of CISSP)GSLCCCISOHCISPP
