Occupational Therapist (OT) – Inpatient Rehabilitation (Travel Contract)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract (13 Weeks) | Days | Monday–Saturday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM | Expected 36 hours/week | One weekend (Saturday and Sunday) per month required; weekend hours may vary based on census and patient needs

Key Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy evaluation and treatment to adult patients (18+) in an inpatient rehabilitation setting
• Treat a diverse patient population with diagnoses including CVA, BKA/AKA, hip and knee replacements, brain injury, spinal cord injury, debility, and cardiac conditions
• Utilize advanced rehabilitation equipment including Vectra Bioness Gait Training System, Bionik Arm, Synaptic, Lite Gait, Saebo, and Ekso Skeleton
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using the Cerner EHR system
• Maintain a patient ratio of 5:1 and collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team
• Demonstrate flexibility and a team-oriented approach to patient care across a 40-bed unit, including a 12-bed TBI unit

Required Qualifications

• Active, discipline-specific Occupational Therapist license (state-appropriate)
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of occupational therapy experience
• Must wear black scrubs

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in an inpatient rehabilitation setting strongly preferred
• Familiarity with Cerner EHR
• Experience treating neurological, orthopedic, and cardiac diagnoses in an acute rehab environment
• Flexible, adaptable thinker with strong team collaboration skills
