Due to continued growth and investment in new equipment, they are looking for an experienced Geotechnical Rig Operator to lead operations on a newly purchased drilling rig, helping expand both the company's project capability and future growth. In this role, you will take full responsibility for operating the drilling rig, leading a crew of 2-3 field personnel, coordinating day-to-day drilling activities, transporting equipment to site, troubleshooting field issues, and ensuring projects are completed safely and efficiently. You'll have the opportunity to make a real impact within the business while enjoying a high level of responsibility and autonomy from day one, with a clear pathway into leadership. The Role Operate and lead a brand-new geotechnical drilling rig across a variety of engineering projects. Supervise and coordinate a field crew while overseeing daily site operations. Perform soil drilling, rock coring, sampling and well installation work. The Candidate Experience operating Geotechnical Drilling Rigs. CDL Licence. Previous experience leading or supervising a drilling crew.
