Step into a contract role serving both high school and elementary students as a dedicated Occupational Therapist. This opportunity near Greenwich, CT, offers immediate start and a diverse weekly schedule, providing you with a chance to make a tangible impact in multiple school settings. You’ll split your 30-hour workweek between 10 hours at a high school and 20 hours at an elementary school, focusing on make-up sessions and meeting a variety of student needs.

Qualifications:

• Active state licensure and credentials in Occupational Therapy for school-based practice
• Previous experience working in school settings, ideally with both high school and elementary populations
• Ability to work independently, as no COTA support will be provided
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
• Flexibility and adaptability to shifting caseloads and priorities

Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services directly to students, addressing individual education plans (IEPs) and supporting academic success
• Conduct assessments and develop intervention strategies tailored to each student
• Manage a blend of make-up sessions and regular services across two school levels
• Maintain thorough, timely records and documentation for each student seen
• Engage in ongoing communication with teachers, school staff, and families to ensure student progress
• Travel between school buildings as needed based on your weekly schedule
