Physician - General Surgery

Gifford is seeking a skilled and compassionate General Surgeon to join our Critical Access Hospital (CAH) as a full-time, employed physician. This role is ideal for a dedicated generalist who thrives in a close-knit, community-oriented healthcare environment. This position offers a balanced work‑life dynamic with limited call responsibilities. This role includes a blend of clinic, endoscopy, and operative time, with a typical case mix that includes routine general surgery, common abdominal and soft‑tissue procedures, and both upper and lower endoscopy. Additional responsibilities include inpatient consultation during clinic hours, peri‑operative care, wound management, and minor in‑office procedures when appropriate.
