Medical Assistant
Freeman Recovery Center
Purpose : Assist medical and nursing staff in providing an excellent client experience. Job Duties: Assist medical providers and nursing staff daily. Perform point of care testing. Record vital signs & assessment flow sheets. Maintain detailed records in EMR systems. Assisting with routine checks and diagnostic testing by collecting and processing specimens. Monitor supplies regularly and submit orders in a timely manner. Monitor patients in clinical care for current needs, adherence to policies & procedures, and clinical or medical related issues. Assist with observing medications as needed. Education and Experience and/or Certification Requirements: High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred. CPR, First Aid/AED certification (provided by Freeman, if needed)required. #J-18808-Ljbffr Freeman Recovery Center
