Occupancy Planner

Position Overview As an Occupancy Planner, you will track, analyze, and interpret space data to develop occupancy scenarios and strategic space plans for a global portfolio. Your work directly influences how the organization deploys its real estate assets to support business growth. Responsibilities Space Planning & Strategic Analysis Analyze and interpret occupancy data to address business partner needs. Conduct go/no-go analysis for significant real estate transactions. Support portfolio planning through occupancy requirements gathering and scenario modeling. Create space scenarios, block diagrams, and adjacency plans that balance business needs with operational efficiency. Translate business requirements into practical space solutions that maximize portfolio value. Collaboration & Stakeholder Management Build and maintain trusted relationships with business partners and cross-functional stakeholders. Collaborate with Transaction Management, Integrated Services Management, and Project Management teams to develop integrated solutions. Gather accurate growth projections and space requirements through effective stakeholder engagement. Data Stewardship & Reporting Maintain accurate, reliable, and timely occupancy data and floor plans. Conduct regular data validation to ensure information accuracy and system integrity. Analyze space utilization data to uncover trends and behavioral patterns. Continuous Learning & Innovation Stay current with corporate real estate and workplace trends through ongoing research and professional development. Share insights and best practices with team members to build collective knowledge and capabilities. Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Real Estate, Business, or related field. 1‑3 years of experience in corporate real estate, space planning, facilities management, or portfolio analysis. Demonstrated interest in occupancy planning, space utilization, or real estate analytics. Technical Skills Proficiency with data analysis and visualization platforms (Excel required; Tableau, Power BI, or similar preferred). Working knowledge of space planning software (AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools). Ability to interpret floor plans and develop space layouts. Comfort working with databases and portfolio management systems. Core Competencies Analytical mindset with ability to connect data patterns to business outcomes.
