Work Environment\nThis full-time position is designed as a remote opportunity, providing you the flexibility to work from your preferred location while staying engaged in collaborative team efforts. You will participate in regular virtual meetings, case consultations, and professional development sessions, helping foster a supportive and connected work atmosphere even from a distance. Our operating hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, ensuring a work-life balance to support your personal and professional growth.
Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms, employing structured diagnostic tools and techniques. \n
- Collaborate with clients to create individualized treatment plans that resonate with their unique goals, preferences, and challenges, emphasizing a personalized approach to care. \n
- Employ evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to assist clients in managing their conditions and enhancing their coping strategies. \n
- Educate clients and their families on the nature of mood disorders, available treatment modalities, and effective self-care practices to empower them in their recovery journey. \n
- Regularly monitor and document clients’ progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to remain aligned with their evolving needs and circumstances. \n
- Engage collaboratively with psychiatrists and healthcare professionals to ensure a seamless and integrated approach to each client’s care, advocating for their mental health needs. \n
- Stay abreast of the latest research in the field of mood disorders, integrating new knowledge into practice to continuously enhance treatment efficacy. \n
- Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, including electronic health record (EHR) systems. \n
- Participate actively in case consultations, peer supervision, and ongoing professional development opportunities to refine clinical skills and share best practices. \n
- Advocate passionately for your clients, working to de-stigmatize mood disorders within the community and promoting awareness of mental health resources. \n
You will predominantly work with individuals experiencing mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. Our diverse clientele requires a nuanced understanding of the unique challenges they face, necessitating a compassionate, empathetic, and culturally competent approach to treatment.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. \n
- Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of New York. \n
- Proficiency in evidence-based treatment modalities for mood disorders, notably CBT and DBT. \n
- A solid understanding of psychopharmacology to facilitate effective collaboration with psychiatrists and other health professionals. \n
- A proven track record demonstrating successful treatment outcomes with mood disorders, highlighting your initial impact within this specialty. \n
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills that enable you to build rapport and trust with clients from diverse backgrounds. \n

- Experience providing virtual counseling services, utilizing telehealth platforms effectively. \n
- Familiarity with community resources and support systems for mood disorders. \n
