As a CNA, You Will: Provide individualized, compassionate care to residents with developmental and intellectual disabilities Assist residents with bathing, feeding, personal care, and other daily activities Support residents in day programs, recreational activities, and community activities Help create a safe, clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment Work as part of a team with CNAs, Nurses, and leadership Build meaningful relationships with residents and support their individual needs and goals Help residents experience a fulfilling and active daily life Training and Support CNA certification is required for this position. Misericordia does not provide training to become a Certified Nursing Assistant. After obtaining your CNA certification, you will complete Misericordia’s mandatory, paid three-week training program . This training will help you learn Misericordia’s procedures, develop the skills needed to provide high-quality care, and feel confident in your role. Previous CNA work experience is not required.
