TRC is looking for a Shipping Clerk for a client in Atlanta, GA.
Job Summary:
Is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Shipping Clerk to join our operations team. The Shipping Clerk will be responsible for preparing outgoing shipments, verifying and documenting inventory, and ensuring all materials are properly packed and labeled in accordance with company and industry standards.
Job Details:
Hours: 6am-3:000pm M-F
Position: Shipping Clerk
Job Responsibilities:
Examine shipment contents and compare with records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy.
Requisition and store shipping materials and supplies to maintain inventory of stock.
Prepare documents, such as work orders, bills of lading, or shipping orders, to route materials.
Pack, seal, label, or affix postage to prepare materials for shipping, using hand tools, power tools, or postage meter.
Record shipment data, such as weight, charges, space availability, damages, or discrepancies, for reporting, accounting, or recordkeeping purposes.
Qualifications:
Must have Shipping and Receiving experience.
Must be proficient in Word, Excel and Export documentation.
Must be comfortable standing for entirety of shift
Must know how to operate Stand Up forklifts
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Must have some prior knowledge of working with computers
