Location: Weston, FL
Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced CVOR Surgical Technologist to support a busy cardiovascular surgery program within a teaching acute care hospital. Candidates must have strong experience in both Cardiac OR and Vascular Surgery and be comfortable taking call responsibilities.
Requirements

Minimum 18 months of Surgical Technologist experience required
2+ years preferred
Strong CVOR experience required
Strong Vascular Surgery experience required
First-time travelers accepted
Active certification preferred:
- NBSTSA and/or NCCT
BLS Certification required

Preferred Qualifications

3+ years of CVOR experience strongly preferred
Previous experience participating in cardiac call rotations
Experience working in a high-acuity surgical environment

Responsibilities

Prepare operating rooms, instruments, and sterile fields for cardiovascular and vascular procedures.
Assist surgeons during open-heart, vascular, and other surgical cases.
Maintain sterile technique throughout procedures.
Anticipate surgical team needs and provide instrumentation efficiently.
Participate in call coverage for emergent cardiac and vascular cases.
Support additional surgical specialties when CVOR cases are not scheduled.
Ensure compliance with facility safety and infection prevention standards.
