RN Manager – Operating RoomLocation: Portland, Oregon FTE: 1.0 (Full-Time) | Shift: DayThe RN Manager – Operating Room is accountable for the leadership and daily operations of the surgical services unit. The role involves supervision of caregivers, clinical oversight, implementation of strategic goals, ensuring regulatory compliance, and fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate demonstrates proven clinical expertise, outstanding team leadership, and alignment with our core mission of patient care and respect.Key Responsibilities:Manage clinical and operational activities of the OR unit in alignment with hospital standards.Lead nursing staff and coordinate patient care to ensure optimal surgical outcomes.Oversee scheduling, staffing, performance evaluations, and training.Monitor compliance with state and federal healthcare regulations.Drive initiatives to enhance patient safety, caregiver engagement, and clinical quality.Partner with multidisciplinary teams to streamline processes and resource utilization.Implement evidence-based practice and quality improvement initiatives.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.Current Oregon Registered Nurse (RN) License (or eligible upon hire).Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (upon hire).3+ years of RN clinical experience in an acute care hospital setting.First-line management experience (recent or current).Preferred Qualifications:Master's degree in Nursing or related healthcare field.CNOR certification (Certified Nurse Operating Room).
