Pay Rate $20–$24/hour (based on experience) Assignment Type 6-month contract with potential for extension Position Overview The Manufacturing QC Incoming Inspector is responsible for inspecting incoming raw materials and components to ensure they meet established quality standards. This role is critical to maintaining production integrity by identifying non-conforming materials, verifying specifications, and supporting overall quality control initiatives. Key Responsibilities Perform detailed inspections of incoming materials and components Identify, document, and escalation non-conforming materials Verify materials against product specifications and quality standards Coordinate with suppliers regarding quality issues and discrepancies Support the implementation of quality control processes and improvements Accurately document inspection results and findings Participate in internal and external quality audits Maintain complete and organized inspection and quality records Responsibilities may vary slightly by location Education Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent (required) Experience Requirements 1–3 years of manufacturing quality control or quality assurance experience (preferred) 1–3 years of product inspection and material verification experience (preferred) Required Skills & Competencies Quality Control / Quality Assurance Product inspection and material verification Strong documentation and record‑keeping skills Analytical and problem‑solving abilities Supplier communication and coordination Audit participation and compliance awareness High attention to detail and accuracy Preferred Certifications Certified Quality Technician (CQT) This job description is a complete list of all desired skills but not all are required.
