This role tailors courses of study, monitors academic progress, provides comprehensive support, maintains a safe learning environment, and keeps families engaged throughout the educational journey. Student & Family Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for full-time students and guardians regarding program specifics, course offerings, curriculum, and graduation credits. Build positive relationships to guide students toward college, career, and citizenship readiness. Caseload Advising: Manage a caseload of full-time students, providing holistic support across academic, career, and social-emotional domains. Guide students through developing short- and long-term future plans. Academic Monitoring & Support: Track student academic progress, credit acquisition, and attendance. Partner with students, guardians, and instructors to create targeted intervention plans for students struggling with course material or pace. Program & Admissions Support: Support advisory curriculum development. Consult with the Admissions team as needed to evaluate applicant criteria for full-time program admission. Professional Expectations: Attend all required meetings and ongoing professional development training. Maintain proficiency in required educational technologies and perform other duties as assigned Qualifications & Requirements Education & Certification: Valid New Hampshire Educator License in School Counseling (or documented eligibility and willingness to obtain certification). Experience: Extensive experience supporting students and families in an educational or counseling setting. Core Competencies: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Strong active listening, conflict resolution, and student advocacy skills. High-level problem-solving abilities and collaborative action-planning skills. Dedication to strong customer service and family support.
