• If you are someone who takes pride in doing things the right way, not the fastest, sloppy way, this role is built for you.
• We are looking for a Painter who can run high-end residential painting projects with skill, ownership, and professionalism. You do not need to be perfect, but you do need to care. You need to think like a leader, communicate clearly, solve problems calmly, and hold the line on quality.
• You are the kind of person who notices when a site is messy, when a detail needs to be clarified, or when a younger painter needs coaching instead of criticism.
• You do not wait around for someone else to own the outcome. You take responsibility.
• At Fres Co. Painting, we work on high-end homes, kitchens, and millwork projects throughout Springfield, MO, and the surrounding area.
• This is not production work. This is a detailed painting where homeowners expect professionalism, clean sites, respectful communication, and strong execution.
• Your day may include spraying cabinetry, painting walls, coordinating materials, walking a homeowner through a question, solving a field condition, reading plans, or making sure the site is ready for the next trade.
• You will work around people who care about craftsmanship, accountability, and getting better. We expect clean job sites, organized communication, and professional conduct in occupied homes.

$22 - $30 hourly

• Perform skilled painting on kitchens, and whole-home painting projects.
• Able to climb ladders with ease.
• Knows how to cut in around corners and maintain a straight line.
• Able to work outside on exteriors on boom lifts or ladders.
• Knows how to use Graco and Tri Tech airless sprayers on both millwork and walls.
• Communicate respectfully with homeowners, team members, and project leadership.
• Keep job sites clean, safe, organized, and professional.
• Identify issues early and help solve them without drama.
• Hold yourself and others accountable to quality standards.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of painting experience.
• Strong fine finishing skills on cabinetry( knowing how to spray Renner is a plus)
• Professional communication skills.
• Reliable transportation.
• Personal hand tools(we will provide all sprayers and painting equipment)
• Clean, organized, detail-oriented work habits.
• Ability to work in occupied homes with respect and professionalism.
• A calm, accountable, solution-focused mindset.
• Capable of working in a finishing shop
• Ability to work alone at times and be accountable to yourself.
