A day in the life

You kick off your morning by reviewing a crisp 30-60-90 day pipeline and prioritizing which manufacturers in Northwest Ohio you’ll visit. A quick huddle with our seasoned technical team arms you with application insights so you can shape compelling CNC solutions. By early afternoon, you’re consulting with a prospect, uncovering bottlenecks, and mapping a value-driven project. You wrap the day by logging updates in SalesForce.com and tracking profitability, confident that your compensation is tied to the smart decisions you’re making in your territory.

Territory

Your territory will center on the North West Ohio market. Final coverage is tailored based on your experience and strengths, our business needs, and your geographic preference.

What you’ll do

• Originate and advance CNC capital projects that align to customer objectives.
• Own deal health and manage profitability from discovery through close.
• Protect and grow existing accounts while acquiring new logos in line with defined sales goals.
• Maintain an electronic 30-60-90 day forecast to drive focus and accountability.
• Follow the Ellison Technologies sales training program to continuously sharpen your approach.
• Utilize SalesForce.com and keep client data accurate and current.

What you’ll bring

• Successful B2B territorial sales background, ideally within machine cutting tools.
• We also welcome talent with tooling, fixturing, and/or CNC programming who want to transition into outside sales.
• Alternatively, proven territory sales experience plus a strong appetite to master advanced CNC equipment.
• Hunter mentality: you get in the door, teach prospects about their operations, and deliver creative, value-added solutions.
