Akkodis is seeking Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) Specialist in Auburn Hills, MI. Job Title: Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) Specialist Location: Auburn Hills, MI Salary: $85k - 95k annually (The pay range may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors) Duration: Direct Hire Job Description: The Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) Specialist responsible for leading and supporting the EHS function at the plant level. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for following, enforcing, and communicating all internal and OSHA required safety procedures. Coordinate the safety program including written programs, training, inspections, and committee activities to ensure that local and federal requirements are met. Investigate incidents, perform root cause analysis and come up with corrective / preventative actions. Provide support to plant, for environmental, health, and safety questions / concerns. Reports to the Management Team on the status of the environmental management system, including environmental compliance, system audits and corrective action plans. Lead workers compensation claims, including paperwork and communications with injured employees and TPA/insurer. Other duties as assigned.
