Speech-Language Pathologist

Provide speech-language therapy to students in a school setting, supporting IEP goals and ensuring compliance with best practices. This 39-week contract in Denton, Texas offers competitive pay up to $62 per hour for qualified professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide school-based speech and language therapy services to support student IEP goals
• Conduct assessments and contribute to eligibility and IEP team decisions
• Deliver therapy in accordance with documented best practices and therapy plans
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and progress notes for IEP compliance
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, families, and related service providers to promote student communication outcomes

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
• Texas state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist or eligibility to obtain
• Minimum 1 year of clinical and/or school-based experience working with students
• Strong assessment and documentation skills
• Ability to develop and implement therapy plans aligned to IEP goals
• Professional communication and teamwork mindset
• Background check and required school onboarding documentation
• Comfortable working in a school setting during school days

Preferred Skills:

• ASHA certification (CCC-SLP)
