Qualifications:
- 7-10+ years of recent CPA office experience in tax preparation of complex tax returns
- CPA or EA
- Up-to-date knowledge of Federal and California tax regulations and laws
- Ability to research and find solutions to tax issues individually and/or with fellow CPAs
- Proficient with Lacerte Tax Software and QuickBooks (Online & Desktop)
- Collaborative, team-oriented mindset
Responsibilities:
- Review complex income tax returns (individual, partnership, corporate, trusts)
- Advise clients on tax planning
- Communicate and provide explanations to the client's tax questions
- Maintain knowledge of current federal and California tax law changes and planning opportunities
- Collaborate with other CPAs to resolve each other’s tax issues
- Maintain strict client confidentiality
