ENT Physician – Locum Tenens

?? Rhinelander, Wisconsin
?? Specialty: Otolaryngology (ENT)
?? 30-Bed Facility | Clinic + OR | 20 Patients/Day

Position Overview

We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible ENT Physician for locum tenens coverage in Rhinelander, WI, starting December 1, 2025 and continuing ongoing. This is a full-scope general ENT opportunity, combining clinic, surgical, and call responsibilities.

Schedule Details

?? Ongoing Assignment
?? Weekly Schedule:

Monday: Clinic, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (lunch 12–1 PM)
Tuesday: Surgery Day
Wednesday: Clinic, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (lunch 12–1 PM)
Thursday: Clinic, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (lunch 12–1 PM)
Friday: Surgery Day
?? Call: 1:3 rotation (approximately 10 days/month)

Clinical Details
Daily Volume: ~20 patients/day
Department Beds: 30

Cases/Procedures:
General ENT – surgical and non-surgical
Endoscopic sinus and septal procedures (required)
Tracheotomy
General head & neck
"Bread and butter" ENT expected

Audiology Support: 2 audiologists on-site

In-Clinic Procedure Capabilities

Requirements
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Otolaryngology
Active Wisconsin license or IMLC eligibility
Must be comfortable with full-spectrum general ENT including endoscopic sinus/septal work and tracheotomies
Availability for both clinic and OR work, with shared call responsibilities

Credentialing
?? Timeframe: ~90 days
?? Start process early – no temp privileges available
