These individuals will play a crucial role in providing recommendations translating mission needs into operationally delivered end-to-end solutions through developing and coordinating documentation necessary for execution. These positions focus on supporting the Space Systems Command (SSC) customer on the Hemisphere program.Responsibilities include:Provides expert advice to Government Program Managers and Senior Space Force leadership regarding acquisition strategies, contracting, budgeting, and program executionProvides expertise in software acquisition within the DoD to include classified ACAT-like space control systemsOffers strategic approaches for developing documentation required to support Defense Acquisition BoardsHighly knowledgeable in developing and coordinating all activities and documentation required to support source selectionsDemonstrated experience with Air Force contracting and Air Force financial managementSupports ongoing and emerging program acquisitionsProvides expertise in schedule management of DoD space programsServes as a strategic problem solver for the Government and refines acquisition strategiesIdentifies program execution issues and provides accompanying solution recommendationsDrafts presentation materials, status briefings, and strategic communication inputsPerforms analyses of program business cases and risk assessmentsProvides actionable recommendations to the Government Program ManagersDevelops and collaborates on acquisition planning briefings and documents (AoA, ASP, ASD, J&A, etc.)Develops and collaborates on solicitation planning and execution documents (RFPs, SOWs, CDRLs, Incentive Plans, etc.)Drafts technical evaluations and functions as advisors in Source Selections as requested by the GovernmentRequired Qualifications:Active TS clearance, SCI eligibleBachelor’s Degree in related science field (e.g., systems engineering, software engineering, etc.)Minimum of 5 years of applicable job experience for mid-level positions.Minimum of 10 years of applicable job experience for Senior positions.Knowledgeable in the fields of Air Force contracting, schedule management of DoD contracts, and Air Force financial managementAble to organize and conduct ACAT-like technical design reviews and auditsExperience developing, updating, and coordinating ACAT-like program documentationAmenable to being nominated for access to Special Access Programs (SAP).Preferred Qualifications:Master’s degree in related science field (e.g., systems engineering, software engineering, etc.)Understands Program Management of ACAT I through ACAT III programsPreviously served as an evaluator/advisor on at least one Source SelectionExperience with generative AI toolsExperience with Confluence and JIRASAP eligibleCertifications: DAWIA/APDP Program Management Level III, Project Management Professional (PMP), and/or PMP Program Management Professional (PgMP)Proficient in CCaR and MS Project softwareLocations: Los Angeles (El Segundo), CA preferred. Colorado Springs.Scheduled Weekly Hours: <40 > Basic Compensation:$110,000 – $217,000 annually (This range is for the CA area only)$100,000 - $198,000 annually (This range is for the CO area only)The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.Additional Compensation:KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation.
