Phlebotomist-Part-time- Palm Bay

Job Overview Labcorp is a global leader in diagnostic testing and drug development solutions. We are currently seeking a Phlebotomist to work in a Patient Service Center. The role requires exceptional customer service, skilled specimen collection, and represents the company to patients. Work Schedule 20 hours weekly, Monday through Friday 7:00AM – 11:00AM, with rotating weekends. Key Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other analyses. Enter patient information accurately and in a timely manner. Process billing information and collect payments when required. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Complete other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Phlebotomy certification or completion of a recognized training program, or 3 months of experience as a phlebotomist. Preferred Qualifications 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience. Additional Job Standards Phlebotomy certification or training program must be from an accredited agency. Must be able to pass a standardized color blindness test. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Exceptional customer service skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Reliable transportation. PSTs may be eligible for the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.
