Outpatient Clinics Float Nurse

The Outpatient Clinics Float Nurse provides professional nursing care and performs administrative support functions in various outpatient clinics, including Cardiology, Endocrinology, ENT, General Surgery, Ophthalmology, Pain, Primary Care, Rheumatology, Afterhours Care, and Snowmass Clinic. The role requires competent nursing skills to provide care as the primary nurse working under minimal supervision and the flexibility to float between all outpatient clinics.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care to patients in various outpatient clinic settings.
• Perform administrative support functions as required.
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care while maintaining communication with the healthcare team.
• Assist with procedures and patient management as necessary.
• Remain flexible and adapt to multiple clinic environments.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Associate degree in Nursing (ADN).
• Unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Colorado or ability to obtain before the start date.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
• Preferred: Bachelor's (BSN) or Master's (MSN) in Nursing.
• Preferred: 2 years of PCU/ICU/CCU and ED experience.
• Preferred: Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification.
• Preferred: Experience with EPIC.
• Preferred: Bilingual in Spanish.

Schedule

This position requires a commitment of 40 hours per week.
