Position Overview As a Loan Officer Support Specialist , you’ll play an essential role in supporting our Loan Officers and helping keep every loan moving efficiently from application through closing. This is an operations and administrative support role designed for someone who enjoys organization, follow-through, and delivering an exceptional client experience. You will work closely with Loan Officers and other members of the operations team to help ensure loan files, documentation, communication, and follow-up activities remain accurate and on track. What You’ll Do Support Loan Officers with the day-to-day coordination of active loan files Manage and update CRM tasks to help ensure every loan remains organized and on schedule Monitor loan milestones and follow up on outstanding requirements Help maintain accurate, complete, and organized loan documentation Assist with administrative and operational tasks throughout the loan process Keep files and related records current and ready for internal review Documentation & Follow-Up Follow up with borrowers to collect required documentation Communicate with real estate agents, referral partners, and other parties involved in the transaction Track outstanding documents and help ensure items are received in a timely manner Identify missing information and bring potential issues to the attention of the appropriate team member Maintain clear and accurate records of communications and follow-up activities Client Communication & Service Provide professional and timely communication to borrowers and external partners Help keep clients informed throughout the loan process Respond to general questions and direct more complex lending questions to the appropriate Loan Officer Support a smooth, organized, and stress-free experience from application through closing Build positive relationships through responsiveness, professionalism, and strong follow-through Operational Support Help identify potential delays or issues and elevate them promptly Support accurate task management and workflow coordination Manage multiple priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail Follow established procedures and contribute to an organized lending process Work collaboratively with Loan Officers and operations team members to help keep transactions moving forward What We’re Looking For Highly organized and detail-oriented Dependable and accountable with strong follow-through Comfortable managing multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment Proactive and able to stay one step ahead of deadlines and outstanding requirements Client-focused with a strong commitment to customer service A clear and professional communicator Comfortable supporting a team and working collaboratively Able to handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in mortgage lending, banking, finance, real estate, or a similar administrative or operations-focused role Experience supporting Loan Officers, loan files, financial transactions, or documentation processes is a plus Familiarity with the mortgage loan process is preferred Experience using CRM systems, pipeline management tools, or task management platforms Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office Experience communicating with borrowers, real estate agents, lenders, or other business partners is beneficial Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Why Join Empire Finest Group?
