Our competitive, performance-based culture is central to our continued success.The Transport Driver is responsible for safely loading, securing, transporting, and unloading heavy equipment using a tractor-trailer rig. Deliveries and pickups are performed at customer sites, Quinn Company facilities, and supplier locations. This role requires adherence to safety regulations, accurate documentation, and flexible scheduling.Wages: $25.80 – $30.00 per hour (based on experience and education)Responsibilities:Maintain a valid California Class A Driver's License, acceptable driving record, and current DMV Medical CertificateProperly operate company vehicles in compliance with DMV and DOT regulationsParticipate in the U.S. Department of Transportation drug and alcohol testing programPerform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle safety and operational inspectionsComplete daily routine maintenance and minor mechanical repairs as skill and time allowOperate various equipment to load, secure, transport, and unload items safelyUse material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and cranesDemonstrate basic equipment operation to customers when requiredUse road maps and routing tools to ensure efficient and timely transportationMaintain permits, bills of lading, invoices, and other delivery documentationMaintain accurate and up-to-date driver logbook recordsWork a flexible schedule to meet company and customer needsQualifications:High school diploma or GED requiredOne year of related driving experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experienceValid California Class A Driver's LicenseCurrent DMV Medical CertificateForklift operator certification preferredPhysical Demands:Regular standing, walking, reaching, talking, and hearingFrequent use of hands for handling and operating equipmentOccasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawlingAbility to regularly lift up to 10 lbs, frequently lift up to 25 lbs, and occasionally lift up to 100 lbsVision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustmentWork Environment:Frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts, chemicals, and outdoor weather conditionsOccasional exposure to high or precarious places and airborne particlesNoise levels are typically loudQuinn Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer (M/F/V/DV).Quinn Group, Inc. provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, age, national origin, physical or mental disability, or veteran status.
