Scheduling Specialist

Mercy Community Healthcare is looking for an energetic, self-motivated Scheduling Specialist, with a passion for making a difference in the lives of those we serve in our community.

What Is This Job All About?

• You will be responsible for scheduling patient appointments.
• General clerical duties such as answering multi-line phone system, managing waitlist, and sending notification letters.
• Greeting patients and entering appointments into the EMR system.
• Making sure patients fill out necessary forms.

What We Need from You:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years' experience in a healthcare business office preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to use MS Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Spanish-speaking highly preferred.
• Excellent communication both on the phone and in person.
• Provide outstanding customer service to meet the needs of patients.
• Experience with EMR operating system (eCW highly preferred).
• Familiarity with medical terminology and shorthand.
