Recovery Advocate - Grant Based Position

Ready to make a real impact? At The Bridge Behavioral Health, we're looking for compassionate, flexible, and optimistic individuals to join our team as Recovery Advocates. This grant-based position is your chance to provide essential support and guidance to individuals battling drug and alcohol use.

What We're Looking For:

Positive, fun, and reliable team players who thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Part-time hours: Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

Your Responsibilities:

Conduct outreach to the chronic homeless population.
Observe, supervise, and document client behavior and participation.
Communicate significant observations to the interdisciplinary team.
Assist clients who may be under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Educate clients on available community resources and assist with connecting them to services that support recovery, housing stability, healthcare, employment, transportation, and other identified needs.
Address clients' immediate needs and respond to emergencies.
Maintain professional, therapeutic relationships with clients and peers.
Ensure confidentiality of client records.
Model supportive behavior for clients in recovery.

What You Need:

Two years of coursework or experience in a human services field, or two years of lived recovery experience with demonstrated skills.
Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred (Psychology, Sociology, or related field).
Ability to work with diverse populations.
Must be 21 years or older.
Valid Driver's License.

Part-Time Benefits:

$500 SIGN-ON BONUS after 6 months!
