We are seeking an experienced and motivated Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our dedicated team on a part-time basis. This position offers a balanced workweek with three days in the office and alternating Fridays or Mondays to provide long weekends. Title Dental hygienist Job Description Perform dental cleanings, examinations, and assessments using radiographs and examinations as needed. Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive dental care. Assist the dentist during procedures and screenings. Accurately document patient care and treatment using Dentrix software. Utilize Tigerview digital X-ray technology for diagnostic imaging. Maintain a clean and organized workspace following infection control and OSHA standards. Build strong relationships with patients to foster trust and encourage ongoing care. Collaborate effectively with dental team members to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. Salary Range part-time $48 - $48 per hour - Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience. Shift & Schedule Monday: 8 AM – 5 PM Tuesday: 8 AM – 5 PM Wednesday: 8 AM – 5 PM Thursday: 8 AM – 5 PM Friday: 8 AM – 4 PM (alternating Fridays off) Saturday: Closed Sunday: Closed Requirements Dentrix Eaglesoft Licensed dental hygienist Open Dental X-ray / Radiography Certification Current and valid Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in the state of Texas. Proven experience as a dental hygienist in a clinical setting. Proficiency with Dentrix dental practice management software. Experience with Tigerview digital X-rays or similar radiographic technology. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well within a team. Commitment to patient care and education. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. Preferences Previous experience working in a private dental practice setting. Familiarity with Texas oral health regulations and compliance standards. Excellent time management and multitasking abilities.
