The Robert Gunn Agency in Orange Park is looking for a motivated, relationship-driven Inside Sales Representative who enjoys connecting with people, uncovering needs, and turning conversations into solutions.

This is more than a quoting position. You’ll help customers protect what matters most while building relationships, creating new business opportunities, and contributing directly to the growth of the agency.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do:

• Connect with prospective customers through inbound and outbound sales opportunities.
• Ask thoughtful questions to understand each customer’s insurance needs.
• Prepare personalized auto, home, and other property and casualty insurance quotes.
• Clearly explain coverage options and help customers make confident purchasing decisions.
• Follow up consistently with prospects and quoted households to convert opportunities into new business.
• Identify cross-sell opportunities and help customers build stronger overall protection.
• Ask satisfied customers for referrals and help develop new opportunities through existing relationships.
• Maintain accurate records of customer conversations, quotes, follow-ups, and sales activity.
• Work collaboratively with the agency team to achieve individual and overall sales goals.
• Deliver an experience that makes customers want to continue doing business with and refer others to the agency.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For:

• Active Florida Property & Casualty or Personal Lines insurance license.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfortable working with multiple computer applications and systems.
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
• Ability to work full-time, in-office at our Orange Park location.

Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience in sales, customer service, retail, banking, lending, hospitality, or another customer-facing environment.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working toward measurable goals.
• Confident starting conversations and asking for the business.
• Coachable and open to feedback.
• Persistent without being pushy.
• Able to balance a great customer experience with a results-focused sales mindset.
• Organized and disciplined about following up with prospects.
• Motivated by both personal achievement and team success.
