Substitute Registered Nurse 2024 - 2025 role at Nashua School District Position: Substitute Registered Nurse - RN Location: District Wide Work Year: 2024 - 2025 School Year Salary Range: $200 per day - Per Diem Qualifications Certified in Basic Life Support CPR and AED (automated external defibrillator) Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills Prior experience with pediatric, adolescent or urgent/emergency care preferred Knowledge of student or patient database information systems and Microsoft Office Must provide RN license Substitute RN Position for the 2024 - 2025 School Year (Per Diem) Responsibilities Care for emergencies, render first‑aid and, if necessary, make arrangements for further treatment. Contact parents to advise them of child’s illness and notify the school office, as well as the Principal on unexplained pupil absences. Check immunization records of all students to insure compliance with R.S.A. 200:38; notify parents of deficiencies and inform Principal of non‑compliance. Ensure compliance with all relevant statutes, regulations and policies including those pertaining to the administration of prescribed medication. Maintain health, medication, clinic and examination records and files; keep a daily log of activities; maintain supply inventory in compliance with district and state nursing regulations, policies and procedures. Assist and advise LPNs, LNA, and teachers assigned to special‑need students or classrooms.
