Job Description Base pay range is $20.00 - $22.00 per hour 1st Shift:4:30AM - 1:30PM, Monday - Friday (seasonal Saturdays) , hours may vary depending on operations The Machine Operator I is responsible for setting up and operating heavy machinery and related gauges to perform various cutting, punching, forming, blocking, and processing operations. They must have thorough knowledge of production techniques and the ability to produce quality‑building parts. Understands and follows safety rules and precautions necessary for working in and around a manufacturing environment. Ability to set‑up and operate machinery and equipment to cut, punch, form, or paint quality finished or semi‑finished parts. Ability to operate computerized equipment and material handling equipment. Performs routine preventive maintenance, adjustments, and lubrication on equipment and production tools as required to maintain proper operation. Marks part numbers, order numbers, and the number of pieces on parts. Attaches identification tags as required for customer to have the ability locate correct parts. Interprets blueprints, specifications, and other technical data to select the correct raw material or semi‑finished parts. Maintains continuous improvement practices in work area. May be assigned other projects and duties as designated by Team Leader. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) Some knowledge of a manufacturing environment. Physical Requirements Lifting Capacity – ability to lift up to 30 lbs. Mobility – Prolonged periods of time on feet, standing, bending, etc. Exposure – Moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, and non‑climate‑controlled environment. Benefits The US pay range for this full‑time position is $20.00 per hour to $22.00 per hour + medical, dental, vision benefits starting day 1 + 401k and PTO.
