Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Job Description We are hiring CNAs and Home Health Aides to work in clients’ homes in the Plano/Allen areas. Assignments will be kept close to you. Starting pay is based on experience and client requirements. At least 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license. Current CPR as required by client facility; other health and screening tests as required by specific facilities and/or regulatory agencies. Responsibilities Follow the client's plan of care as assigned. Deliver personal care services to clients as assigned. Assist with mobility and safe transfers from bed to chair. Monitor client vitals such as temperature, blood pressure, and pulse. Assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation. Administer medications as prescribed and help with medication reminders. Provide companionship and engage in recreational activities with clients. Report any changes in the client’s condition to the healthcare team or family. Maintain accurate records of care provided. Comply with CareBuilders at Home policies and procedures. Maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA. Communicate information effectively to appropriate personnel.
