Adjunct Faculty – Humanities Location: Cleveland, OH Department: Liberal Arts & Sciences Employment Type: Part‑time (Adjunct) Salary: $942.00 per Equated Semester Unit (ESU) Recruitment Type: External/Internal Requisition ID: req6975 Reports To: Associate Dean Work schedule: To be determined based on business unit needs. Classes may be offered during the day, evening, and/or weekend. Responsibilities Teach a full range of humanities courses. Prepare and deliver learning activities to achieve course outcomes. Develop course materials such as syllabi, homework assignments, and handouts. Evaluate and grade students’ class work, laboratory work, assignments, papers, and examinations. Maintain and submit student attendance records, grades, and other required documentation by specified deadlines. Be available to students for coaching. Attend periodic meetings with supervisors, division, or College related to teaching duties and professional development. Required Qualifications Master’s degree or higher in Humanities, or a master’s degree in a related field with a minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in Humanities or a related discipline. Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (or equivalent). Advanced communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Responsive to the needs of the community.
