Rehab Technician

Overview Assists in preparing patient for treatment by Physical and Occupational Therapists/Assistants and Speech Pathologists in acute care, rehab, and outpatient settings. Performs routine tasks and assists therapists during patient treatment activities. Tasks include but are not limited to: assisting with transferring patients, managing and tracking equipment, environmental cleaning, taking inventory, stocking supplies, assisting with advanced technology and robotic devices, assisting with feeding group, and transporting patients to and from Rehab Department. Annual competency maintained and documented. Responsibilities Assist with transferring patients and transporting patients to and from Rehab Department. Manage and track equipment; take inventory and stock supplies. Assist with environmental cleaning and basic equipment maintenance. Assist with advanced technology and robotic devices as directed. Assist with feeding group and other treatment activities as assigned. Support therapists during patient treatment activities in acute care, rehab, and outpatient settings. Schedule Monday through Friday 8:00 to 4:30. Weekend and Holiday shifts required.
