About the Position

Job Title: Operating Room Nurse Circulator Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10 Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years in outpatient surgery settings. Must have operating room experience as an RN Circulator. License: Valid state nursing license required. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS. Must-Have: Knowledge of Cerner for charting. Customer-focused and willing to assist in patient care. Strong collaboration and communication skills with a multi-discipline team. Good sterile technique and sterile processing knowledge. Description: Seeking an Operating Room Nurse Circulator for our outpatient surgery department. No weekends, no call, and no holidays required. Surgical scrubs will be provided. The primary role is as an RN in the operating room, providing patient care. Assist the surgical team, including the surgeon and anesthesiologist. Prepare the room for surgery and verify all critical elements for safe surgery. Assist with intubation/extubation and during nerve blocks. Ensure patient safety by following policies and procedures such as surgical counts and time-outs. Document all procedures accurately in the charting system. Communicate professionally with team members. Utilize the chain of command effectively for escalating any difficult situations. Quick learner with a focus on patient safety and care quality.
