This is afull-time contractual faculty position to start Fall 2023. Conditions of Employment Offer of employment is contingent upon successful completion of duediligence background check and verification of credentials. Preference with be given to candidates with a minimum of eight years teaching core criminaljustice courses and evidence of teaching effectiveness at theundergraduate level. Candidates must be committed to working with diverse populations and be conversant in multicultural issues. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of eight years ofexperience teaching lower-level criminal justice courses within ourcriminal justice curriculum such as Introduction to CriminalJustice, Introduction to Law Enforcement, Advanced CriminalProcedures, and American Courts. Education Ph.D. or Master Degree in Criminal Justice, Criminology, Justice Studies or a closely related field from an accredited institution. Knowledge Skills and Abilities Preferred Qualifications Specialization area open withresearch interests and experiences in Drugs and Crime, CriminalProcedure, Criminology, Social Justice, or Community-BasedCorrections.
