Job Description
As a Security Officer Port Patrol in Baltimore MD you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors contractors and/or employees while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols at a government location.
- Respond to incidents alarms and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and communicate with site contacts and emergency personnel as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings grounds parking areas access points and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
- Monitor entrances gates and/or restricted areas by verifying credentials observing vehicle and pedestrian traffic and reporting suspicious behavior or policy violations.
- Complete routine reports document incidents and/or observations and support emergency response activities in accordance with Allied Universal standards and site expectations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
- Have customer service experience preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
