IT Technical Infrastructure Project Manager

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure Project Manager to lead and manage complex infrastructure projects from initiation through implementation and closure. The role requires strong project management skills combined with a solid understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure, cloud, networks, servers, data centers, security, and end-user technologies.

The ideal candidate will work closely with infrastructure teams, technical architects, vendors, business stakeholders, and senior leadership to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to quality and business requirements .

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end IT infrastructure projects from planning and initiation through deployment and closure.
• Develop project plans, timelines, milestones, resource plans, budgets, and delivery schedules.
• Manage infrastructure projects involving:
  • Servers Windows/Linux
  • Network and connectivity
  • Data centres
  • Cloud infrastructure AWS/Azure/GCP
  • Storage and backup
  • Virtualization VMware/Hyper-V
  • Cybersecurity infrastructure
  • Active Directory / IAM
  • Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity
  • End-user computing / workplace technology
  • Infrastructure migrations and upgrades
• Coordinate with technical teams including Network, Server, Cloud, Security, Database, Storage, DevOps, and Infrastructure Operations .
• Work with architects and SMEs to define technical solutions, dependencies, and implementation approaches.
• Manage project scope, schedule, cost, risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests.
• Conduct regular project status meetings and provide weekly/monthly status reports to leadership.
• Track project deliverables, milestones, KPIs, and SLAs.
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation and contingency plans.
• Manage third-party vendors, service providers, and technology partners.
• Coordinate infrastructure implementation, testing, deployment, and production cutover.
• Manage change management processes and ensure appropriate approvals before implementation.
• Ensure projects follow organizational ITIL, governance, security, compliance, and change-management standards .
• Manage escalations and resolve project blockers with relevant stakeholders.
• Conduct project closure, lessons learned, documentation, and knowledge transfer
