Sales Representative

Responsibilities Achieve sales goals and execute sales plans within an assigned sales territory or account with new or existing business. Secure and maintain product distribution, provide pricing, negotiate, and maintain effective sales agreements. Create, monitor, and revise lead‑generation plans to ensure a substantive sales opportunity pipeline. Satisfy existing customer needs and expand existing business by fostering and maintaining customer relationships. Coordinate with the design department on the customer’s behalf to improve existing design and develop new designs. Review opportunities and problems, evaluate the efficiency of existing procedures with the sales manager, and recommend opportunities for improvement. Manage overall account functions, including record‑keeping, credit applications, forecasts, budgets, and credit collection from delinquent accounts. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree and/or 3‑5 years of outside sales experience with a proven record of success. Valid driver’s license and good driving record for the last three years (required for company vehicle or reimbursement). Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to work well under pressure, be self‑motivated, manage time effectively, and commit to individual and team success. Ability to exercise independent judgment in negotiating sales agreements and handle difficult or sensitive accounts. Preferred Qualifications Three years of experience in corrugated material or paper sales.
