Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

• Hold a valid Occupational Therapy license (OT) in North Carolina
• Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred, but enthusiastic new grads are welcome to apply
• Understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and the ability to contribute effectively to IEP teams
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
• Proficiency in assessing, planning, and implementing therapeutic activities for children and adolescents

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess students to determine needs and develop personalized therapy interventions to support educational performance and daily school participation
• Write and update documentation, including evaluations, progress notes, and recommended accommodations
• Collaborate with special education staff, teachers, and parents to support educational goals and implement interventions in the classroom setting
• Deliver direct and consultative OT services for students, maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute insights for holistic student support
