Staff Accountant

Overview Senior Accounting & Finance Specialist (Remote) Position: 7-Month Contract | Fully Remote | $25-30/hr Responsibilities Lead comprehensive month-end closing procedures and financial reporting Manage revenue recognition processes and compliance with accounting standards Oversee operational expenses (OpEx) and accrual accounting Direct AR/AP operations and process improvements Develop and maintain management reporting packages Collaborate with FP&A team on financial planning and analysis Create and maintain accounting policies and procedures Support strategic decision-making through financial analysis Qualifications Must be a US Citizen living in the US 3+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience Expert knowledge of GAAP and revenue recognition principles Proven experience with OpEx management and accrual accounting Strong background in AR/AP operations and process optimization Experience partnering with FP&A teams and creating management reports Advanced Excel and ERP system proficiency Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field CPA preferred Full-time contract position Work remotely Competitive hourly rate based on experience #J-18808-Ljbffr Underground Administration
