Radiation Therapist - Proton Therapy

Role Overview: The Certified Radiation Therapist performs patient treatments utilizing ionizing radiation, specifically in proton therapy, under the supervision of Radiation Oncologists. The role involves preparing patients and charts, delivering accurate treatments, and coordinating patient scheduling. It requires completing an accredited Radiation Therapy program and holding ARRT certification (RT(T)). Key Responsibilities Deliver prescribed proton radiation treatments and conduct imaging and dosimetry tasks Prepare patients and charts prior to procedures Ensure accurate treatment delivery and coordinate scheduling Qualifications & Skills High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor's degree preferred Board Certified by ARRT (RT(T)) Experience with ARIA/Varian systems and proton therapy is preferred but not required Additional Details: This full-time position offers daytime shifts (Monday-Friday), with no weekends, holidays, call, or overnight shifts.
