Job Summary:

New Mark Rehab and Healthcare Center, a premier healthcare provider in Kansas City, Missouri, is seeking a highly motivated and organized Admissions Assistant to support our admissions process and ensure a seamless experience for new residents and their families. As a key member of our admissions team, you will play a vital role in creating a warm and welcoming environment for our residents.

Admissions Assistant Responsibilities:

• Ensure room readiness for all new admissions
• Maintain and update the bed board and resident name tags throughout the facility
• Assist with and conduct facility tours as needed
• Prepare new admission goodie bags to welcome incoming residents
• Complete daily building walks to ensure cleanliness, organization, and presentability
• Support the admissions team with day-to-day coordination and communication
• Maintain a professional, welcoming environment for residents, families, and visitors

Qualifications:

• Admissions experience required
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environment
• Prior healthcare or skilled nursing experience preferred, but not required
• Comfortable using basic computer systems and facility tracking tools

Customer Service Expectations:

• Present a professional image through appearance, behavior, and communication
• Adhere to company standards for customer service and resident satisfaction
• Promote a positive first impression for residents and families
