Electrical Construction Assistant Project Manager NTS

The position of Assistant Project Manager is responsible for providing a high level of coordination support in a variety of areas, partnering with construction project management and field staff. Assistwithmanagingall aspects of project documentation including submittals, RFIs and project meeting minutes. AssistwithsupervisionanddirectingprojectactivitiesasassignedbythePMincludingplanning and coordinating, circumventing/resolving problem areas, ensuring all company/project policies, procedures and standards are maintained, etc. Assistwiththemaintenanceofallchangeorder,submittalanddocumentcontrollogswithinViewpoint. AssistPMandPXwithinteractionswithsubcontractorstomakecertainthatwe have obtained the correct documentation and drawing for the Owner and Maintenance Manuals. ResponsibleforcreatingtheJobInformationSheetsandestablishingjobfiles under the direction of the PM or PX. AssumetemporarytotalprojectsupervisionresponsibilitiesintheabsenceofthePM. Abletoreadandbasicunderstandingofelectricaldrawingsandspecifications. Assistwithestablishingworkflowbreakdownsinconjunction with Field Supervisors and Project Managers. Assistwithensuringprojectbillingsareaccurateandsubmittedtimely, monthly, and per contract documents. ResponsibleforassistinginwritingandsubmissionofqualityRFIs. ResponsibleforassistingPMtoensuretimelypaymenttosubcontractorsandvendors. Abletoreviewandupdatestatusofconstructionschedulesasperrequestof PM or PX. AbletoassistProjectManagementteamwiththesetupofprojectbudgetsin Viewpoint in conjunction with Field Supervisor. WorkwithPayrolldepartmenttoensureaccuratePayroll information has been submitted. Otherdutiesasassigned. Requirements Minimum3years’experienceinelectricalconstructionorsimilarindustry Electricallicense,preferred Estimatingandprojectmanagementskills,preferred Basicknowledgeofelectricalinstallations,codesandconstructionmethods Familiarwithreadingblueprintsforstructuredcabling,buildingcontrols,firealarm, security, access control Proficiencyatanintermediatelevelwithcomputerskills - Excel, Word, and related PC skills Driver’slicense,cleandrivingrecordrequired Strongmathandorganizationalskills Excellentpeople andcommunicationskills Haveahighdegreeofaccuracyandattentiontodetailwiththeabilitytomultitask Abilitytoprioritizeandorganizework Benefits Salaryrangeforthispositionis$80,000-$125,000annually.
