Description
The Superintendent/Site Manager is responsible for leading all field operations from project startup through completion. This role oversees jobsite safety, quality, schedule, subcontractor coordination, and daily construction activities while serving as the primary on-site leader for the project. The Superintendent works closely with clients, project managers, and trade partners to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to quality standards. Key Responsibilities Lead preconstruction efforts and coordinate all estimating activities. Develop conceptual, GMP, and lump-sum cost estimates. Perform value engineering and cost-saving analyses. Collaborate with design, scheduling, and operations teams. Interface with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors. Review and de-scope subcontractor proposals for scope and compliance. Identify project risks, cost drivers, and mitigation strategies. Support constructability reviews, logistics planning, and project phasing. Mentor junior estimators and provide quality control oversight. Maintain and leverage historical cost data and benchmarking tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
5+ years of superintendent, site management, or construction leadership experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience). Experience managing large-scale construction projects, including at least two projects valued at $10M+. Strong knowledge of construction safety, scheduling, quality control, and subcontractor management. Experience with project buyouts, scopes of work, RFIs, change orders, and project coordination meetings. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, project management software, and construction scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $120000.00/yr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
